Acer's Comeback: New Smartphones Set to Debut in India on March 25



Acer is set to re-enter the Indian smartphone market with a launch event scheduled for April 15, 2025. The event, managed by Indkal Technologies, will unveil new Acer-branded smartphones available exclusively through Amazon India. 

📸 Camera Specifications Revealed

One of the upcoming models is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup, headlined by a 64MP Sony sensor This configuration includes an ultra-wide lens and a macro or depth sensor, offering versatility uncommon in the budget 5G segment The primary camera is designed to enhance low-light photography, supported by AI-driven features such as noise reduction, edge detection, and color tuning These enhancements aim to deliver improved image quality across various lighting conditions.

📱 Anticipated Models and Features

Speculations suggest the launch may include models like the Acerone Liquid S162E4 and Acerone Liquid S272E. The S162E4 is rumored to have a 6.5-inch HD+ display, MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, 16MP rear camera, and a 5,000mAh batter. The S272E4 may feature a 6.7-inch display, 20MP main camera, and similar battery capacit. Both devices are expected to run on Android 14 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storag.

Manufacturing and Distributio

Indkal Technologies holds the trademark licensing agreement with Acer Inc. and is responsible for designing, manufacturing, and distributing Acer-branded smartphones in Inda This partnership aims to deliver premium-quality products tailored for the Indian markt.

Availability and Pricig

The new Acer smartphones will be available for purchase on Amazon India following the lauc. While official pricing details are yet to be announced, previous statements indicate a price range between ₹15,000 and ₹50,000, targeting the budget to mid-range segmets.
